Airport Sweeping in Dallas, TX
and the North Texas Region
Loose hardware, aggregate, and litter on airport pavement become foreign object debris, one of the most preventable causes of aircraft damage. Moore Clean sweeps FBO ramps, corporate aprons, garages, and landside roads across the Dallas metro for airport operations teams, using regenerative-air equipment and providing the service records operators keep on file.
At a glance
Clean surface, protected aircraft
Moore Clean is available for airport sweeping across the Dallas metro, serving FBO ramps, corporate aprons, hangar rows, and the garages and access roads on the landside. We are available for airport cleanup services spanning the landside zones at DFW International and Dallas Love Field, the corporate fields at Addison and Dallas Executive, the growth-corridor airports at McKinney National and Denton Enterprise, and corporate ramps in Irving and Las Colinas out to Arlington, with crews dispatched from our south Dallas facility.
Foreign object debris is rarely dramatic: a bolt on a ramp, spalled concrete at a gate, or wind-blown trash along a fence line. A regenerative-air sweeper lifts that material into a hopper and does not push it across the field, which is the pickup method the FAA FOD guidance contemplates for pavement cleaning. On the landside, the same machines keep terminal roadways, garages, employee lots, and rental car facilities clear of the grit that daily traffic brings in.
The Dallas metro runs one of the busiest mixes of commercial, corporate, and general aviation traffic in the country, and the north-metro construction boom keeps dirt work moving next to active airfields. More movements and more construction mean more debris on ramps, aprons, and access roads, and more reason to sweep on a schedule rather than after the fact.

What’s included
Airside and landside, on your ops windows
Airport operations and facilities teams, FBO managers, parking and rental car operators, cargo tenants, and general contractors on airport projects use the same crews, who work to the movement schedule, escort requirements, and FOD program already in place:
- Apron, ramp & gate-area sweeping scheduled between operations
- Taxiway & shoulder sweeping coordinated with airport operations
- Terminal roadways, curbfront lanes & parking garages
- Employee, remote & rental car lots
- Cargo area & FBO access roads
- Construction trackout & haul-route sweeping on airport projects
- Magnet sweeping & post-construction FOD sweeps before pavement reopens
- Dated service logs for the Part 139 inspection file
Airport work draws on the same fleet that runs our street and parking routes. Depending on the facility, that may be Schwarze A7 Tornado, A4 Storm, or TYMCO 435 class regenerative-air machines, M6 Avalanche broom trucks for heavy construction material, compact units for gate areas and tight ramp corners, and magnet bars for metal debris. Equipment is matched to each site, and many facilities add parking lot sweeping for landside lots on the same visit.

Why it matters
FOD control as a regulatory requirement across Dallas and the North Texas region
Airports certificated under Part 139 must keep paved operating areas clear of foreign object debris. 14 CFR §139.305 writes that duty into the pavement maintenance standard, and FAA AC 150/5210-24A describes a FOD management program built on prevention, detection, removal, and evaluation. Scheduled sweeping is the removal step, and the service log is the record that supports it.
General aviation airports and private ramps fall outside Part 139, yet the hazard is identical: debris damages engines, tires, and propellers whatever the classification of the field. With corporate and training traffic spread across many North Texas fields, we apply one sweeping and documentation standard to each of them.

Regenerative-air pickupVacuum recovery lifts metal, aggregate, and fines into the hopper and does not move them across the ramp.

Pressure WashingPressure washing removes what a sweeper leaves, including gum, fuel and oil stains, and grime, with wash water recovered.

Porter ServiceDay porters keep terminal curbfronts, entrances, and common areas clean between sweeps.

Where we sweep
Airport sweeping across Dallas, Fort Worth and the North Texas region

From the landside zones at DFW and Love Field through the corporate ramps at Addison and Dallas Executive to McKinney National, Denton Enterprise and Fort Worth Alliance on the growth corridors, routes cover commercial, corporate, and general aviation pavement on scheduled visits. Sweeping on airport construction projects covers trackout, haul routes, and the FOD sweep that clears new pavement before it reopens, and landside routes maintain terminal roadways, garages, and employee and rental car lots.

Deep-clean option
Special Projects: Cyclone deep-clean surface system
Special project equipment option: FBO ramp corners, equipment staging pads, and terminal walkways pick up stains that a sweeper passes over. When they need restoring, we rent a Cyclone Technology system with a contained cleaning head. Wash water and slurry are recovered as it works, the way EPA stormwater management practices recommend, so the pavement returns to service without a long closure.

Questions
Dallas airport sweeping FAQ
Can your crews work airside?
Yes. Crews carry insurance to airport requirements, complete badging or work under escort as the access rules require, and coordinate each movement with airport operations. Sweeps are planned around the operating windows of the field, including overnight.
Which Dallas-area airports do you serve?
We are available for the metro’s commercial, corporate, and general aviation fields, from the landside zones at DFW and Love Field to the corporate ramps at Addison, Dallas Executive, McKinney National, and Denton Enterprise. If a field or airpark is not listed, contact us. The service area is wider than these examples, and routes can be adjusted.
Do you provide documentation for Part 139 inspections?
Yes. Each sweep generates a dated, GPS-tracked log that can be filed with pavement maintenance records. Where a FOD program uses its own form, provide it and we will match the format as closely as we can.
When do airport sweeping routes run?
Routes are built around airport operations. Apron and ramp sweeping usually runs overnight or between banks of activity, when pavement is clear and escorts are easier to schedule. Terminal roadways, garages, and employee and rental car lots can be swept in daytime where access allows, and construction sweeping follows the turnover dates set by the contractor.
Do you serve airports in Fort Worth and Arlington?
Yes. Alongside DFW and Love Field, crews are available for landside, ramp and post-construction FOD sweeping at Tarrant County fields such as Fort Worth Alliance, Meacham International and Arlington Municipal. Send the airport and the pavement areas involved and we will scope it.
