The gate tells the inspector everything

DFW is one of the busiest construction markets in the country, and Moore Clean’s construction site services keep its job sites clean, from office conversions and towers along US-75, the LBJ corridor, distribution and industrial along I-30 and the George Bush Turnpike, and subdivision phases advancing north through Frisco, McKinney, and Celina. Blackland prairie clay tracks onto pavement readily; after rain, every truck leaving the gate deposits visible sediment on the street.

Construction site cleaning across Dallas covers both ends of a project. Pre-construction cleanup prepares the pad and access roads ahead of mobilization: vegetation debris, demolition remnants, and the black clay that collects on staging areas are swept and hauled off, so the first trucks arrive on clean ground. Post-construction cleanup prepares the site for turnover. Crews sweep haul routes and curb lines, pull nails and tie wire from the pavement, wash mud and residue from flatwork, and leave the public street at the entrance clean ahead of the owner walk-through.

Construction activity shows no sign of slowing. The U.S. Census Bureau Building Permits Survey regularly places the Dallas area among the national leaders in new construction, and each permit issued becomes another site with track-out to control on public streets.

Our routes

Clean haul routes on job sites across Dallas and the North Texas region

What’s included

What our construction site sweeping and cleanup covers

  • Haul-route & trackout sweeping
  • Sediment & clay removed at gates and entrances
  • Magnetic sweeping for nails & metal debris
  • Dated SWPPP-support documentation after each visit
  • Sweeps ahead of pours & city inspections
  • Paving & milling cleanup
  • Final cleanup before turnover
  • Recurring service scheduled by subdivision phase

North Texas sites shed fine, sticky clay, and our TYMCO DST-4 dustless sweeper is built to collect it without raising dust. Magnet bars follow the sweeper along haul routes and pull nails and tie wire before they reach a tire. At close-out, a final pressure wash prepares the flatwork for turnover.

Our scope is exterior site work: construction sweeping, trackout control, and debris clean-up on pavement, haul routes, and gate approaches. Interior post-construction janitorial cleaning is a separate trade, and we are glad to refer a contractor if the project requires one.

Why it matters

What does SWPPP compliance require from cleanup in Dallas and the North Texas region?

Most North Texas construction is delivered in phases, and on a subdivision or mixed-use project several builders and trades share the same streets. When mud reaches the curb, the operator named on the permit is the party an inspector looks to, whoever tracked it there. The EPA NPDES construction stormwater program and the TCEQ general permit (TXR150000) hold that operator responsible for keeping sediment on site, and in Dallas the street outside the gate drains to the Trinity. Highway work follows the same rules: the TxDOT stormwater program applies the construction general permit and documented best management practices to its projects across the region.

A sweeping schedule tied to each phase settles the question of who cleaned what. Every visit is dated and records the haul routes swept, the gates controlled, and the sediment hauled off, which is the documentation the City of Dallas construction stormwater program expects and the record a general contractor can rely on in an inspection.

Questions

Dallas construction cleanup FAQ

Can you service fast-moving subdivision phases in Frisco and McKinney?

Yes. Subdivision phases are a big part of what we do in North Texas. We set a recurring schedule that tracks the site plan, step it up during dirt work and utilities, ease off at trim-out, and add a sweep ahead of city or lender walk-throughs.

Is magnetic nail sweeping included?

It is. A magnet bar follows the sweeper through gates, haul roads, and laydown areas and collects the nails, screws, and tie wire a broom leaves behind, which spares your subs a flat today and the paving crew one at final.

What documentation do you provide for our SWPPP?

You get a dated service record per visit: areas swept, material hauled, and time on site. Supers file them in the SWPPP binder to show active trackout control under the TXR150000 permit. If the City of Dallas construction stormwater program asks to see the SWPPP during a visit, the sweeping log is already in it.

Do you handle final cleanup at close-out?

Yes. At turnover we sweep streets, curbs, and flatwork, haul off remaining debris, and pressure wash where the finish needs it, which keeps site cleanliness off the punch list.

Is this construction sweeping or post-construction cleaning?

It is construction sweeping, the exterior side of the job. We clean haul routes, gate approaches, curbs, and the public street, run magnets for nails, and document it for the SWPPP file. We do not do interior post-construction cleaning like wipe-downs, glass, or floors.

Do you handle construction site cleanup in Fort Worth, Arlington and Keller?

Yes. Dallas-based crews work job sites across Tarrant County, including Fort Worth, Arlington, Keller and Southlake, on the same terms as Dallas projects: weekly sweeping on active phases, pre-inspection sweeps, and final cleanup at turnover. Send the site address with your quote request and we will confirm scheduling.
